The above great personalities were able to get the land alloted from Chandigarh Administration on 21st March 1974, for construction of the Shree Radha Krishan Mandir under the aegis of the Shree Sanatan Dharam Prachar Mandal. It was thereafter that the Mandir was constructed on the land so got alloted.
The main objectives with which the Mandal had been established, were:-

- Promoting Sanatan Dharm
- Organizing religious and social festivals
- Working for the physical, educational, social, and spiritual upliftment of those having faith in Sanatan Dharm
- Providing shelters and assistance for needy.
